| 7th April - Tewkesbury Licensed Victuallers' Association present £100 cheque to Band. | |||
| April - First Annual General Meeting sadly sees Miles Amherst resign as the Band's Musical Director due to increasing commitments at Tewkesbury Abbey School. The annual subscription is raised to £10 for adult members. Ken Booth takes on the role of Musical Director for the Band. | |||
| 17th May - Town Band played at Tewkesbury School Fete. | |||
| May - The Tewkesbury Guild present the Band with a cheque for £250. | |||

21st June - Town Band played at Detford Village Fete. June - Band played at sound test in Roses Theatre. 28th June - Band played for supporters at the Town Hall in the morning. Band played at Defford Fete in the afternoon. |
