Annual Concert at the Roses Theatre with Avonbank Band. Joint conductors for
the evening were Ken Booth, Gordon Bennett and Steve Walkley.
After this concert Ken Booth resigned as Bandmaster. 2nd April - Dennis Grant (Principal Cornet with the City of Gloucester Band) invited to be Bandmaster. |

- Afternoon: The Band played at Puckrup Hall Garden Fete. 16th August - Evening: The Band played at the Cheltenham Carnival. |

| 25th August - Band played in a Marching & Deportment Contest in the Forest of Dean. This was the first time a Tewkesbury Band had marched for 43 years. The band came 2nd out of 4 bands. | ||
| 31st August - Band played in the garden at the Gupshill Manor, Tewkesbury. | ||
| 7th September - Band played at Upton on Severn. | ||
| 14th September - Band played in the garden at the Royal Hop Pole, Tewkesbury. | ||
| 29th November - Band played in the GBBA Contest in the Forest of Dean. The Band played the march "Sons of the Brave" by T. Bidgood and "Three Castles" by William Rimmer. The Band was placed 8th out of 12 bands. | ||

- Band played at the Hobnails Public House. All other public engagements were cancelled during the summer until the Band reached a higher standard of playing. |

Band played carols in Tewkesbury. 21st December - Band played at the Town Mayor's Carol Service at the Christmas Tree in the forecourt of the Methodist Church, and afterwards at the Swan Hotel. 22nd December - Band played carols in the pubs around Tewkesbury. There was unfortunately no Christmas Concert this year as a result of the Musical Director's resignation. |
