5th July  - Band played in the Town Carnival Parade [Robin Hood]. The Chairman was actually caught on camera wearing tights!!
6th July - Band played at the Beckford Inn.
20th July - Band played in the garden at the Royal Hop Pole, Tewkesbury.
26th July - Band played in the garden at the Gupshill Manor, Tewkesbury.
27th July - Band played in the garden at the Hobnails Public House.
2nd August - Band played at Hasfield Court Garden Fete in aid of Commonwealth war veterans.
22nd to 27th September - Band members (Bob, Keith Rose, Betty Ellis, Bill, Terry, Pete Williams, Ann Barker, David , & Ron Caddock) played for the musical "Viva Mexico" at Shaftesbury Hall, Cheltenham.
9th November - Band played at Town remembrance service at the Cross.
15th December - Band played at the Town Mayor's Carol Service at the Methodist Church.
17th December - Band played carols at various pubs in the area.
20th December - Band played carols in Tewkesbury.
23rd December - Band played carols at various pubs in the area.
24th December - Band played carols in the pubs around Tewkesbury.

Note: 1986 was a poor year for the band with membership dwindling to 15 players. In September Bob Jenner stood down as musical director due to the poor numbers and general lack of interest and loyalty. He returned to the band in October at the majority request of the band.
This year saw no Christmas concert and no presentation of the Miles Amherst trophy.
