1st August  - Rehearsal cancelled due to bomb scare.
8th August - Band played at RAF Innsworth Sergeants Mess Dinner.
15th September - Band played at RAF Innsworth Officers Mess Cocktails Party. 50th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
26th September - After 7 years and 223 days Bob Jenner stands down as musical director of the Band. John Shepherd, the Band's soprano cornet, takes over the baton.
30th September - Band played in Imperial Gardens, Cheltenham.
14th October - Band played at Songs of Praise, Tewkesbury Abbey.

11th November - Band played at Town remembrance service at the Cross.

6th July  (12:30) - Band played at the second Pershore Midsummer Brass Festival;
6th July  (17:30) - Band played on a float in the Town Carnival Parade;
6th July  (19:30) - Band played at the Carnival pig roast.
17th July - Band measured for new uniform.

14th September - Band member Fred Poole died in Cheltenham Hospital.

19th October - Band played in the Malmesbury Entertainment Contest. The Band was placed 3rd out of 12 bands. The Band's principal cornet, Martin Musto, won the cornet prize. Adjudicator: Gordon Higginbottom.

23rd November - Band played at Chance Street School Fete.
24th November - Band played in the GBBA Contest in the Forest of Dean. The Band was placed 8th out of 9 bands.

21st March - Band entered the West of England Area Contest for the first time. Played in the Colston Hall. The Band was placed 8th out of 12 bands.

15th July  - Presentation of 300 cheque to the Cobalt Unit Cheltenham, proceeds of the Fred Poole Memorial Concert. Presentation made by Chris Poole to Jeanne Ramsbottom, the Trust Co-ordinator, in Tewkesbury Town Hall.
19th July  - Band played at BBQ at Betty & Keith's House.
6th September  - Band played at Abbey Park & Shopping Centre, Evesham. John Shepherd hands in letter of resignation.
20th September - Band played in Pittville Park, Cheltenham.
8th November - Band led the Town Remembrance Day parade for the first time since November 1930.
29th November - Band played in the GBBA Contest in the Forest of Dean. The Band was placed 3rd out of 4 bands.
6th December - Band played carols and marched for the Christmas Parade at Asda, Gloucester.
