GBBA Contest, Sunday 24th November 2002 The annual Gloucestershire Brass Band Association contest is held at the Royal Forest of Dean College, Berry Hill, near Coleford. The contest is made up of two parts; a march and an own-choice test piece, each with their own prizes. This year will see us taking part in the Third Section for the first time. |

Piper Appeal Charity Concert, Wednesday 11th December 2002 7:30pm
The band supports
a local charity in its annual 'Celebration of Christmas' at Tewkesbury
Abbey. An evening of music and words, various local music groups and celebrities
entertain. This year the concert will feature Professor David
Watkins (Harp), the St. Cecilia Singers, the Choir of the Abbey School,
Dame Janet Trotter, Charlie Stayt (Channel 5 news) and of course, the
one and only Tewkesbury Town Band! |

CONCERT! Sunday 15th December 2002 Sold Out! Our Christmas concert has previously been visited by Frosty the Snowman, Snow White and regularly Father Christmas too...so who will it be this year? Come along for an evening of music and fun. Joined also by our training band and a local school choir, there is a varied selection of music in the first half, and a festive second half. Tickets are available from the Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury, but you should hurry as they sell out quickly! |
